Here's a throwback track by South-London based grime MC Meridian Dan that reached No. 14 on the UK Singles chart in 2014. Especially after living in London for a while now, I've become pretty much obsessed.

The song, released by PMR Records, is known to have helped shift grime – largely known as an underground UK rap genre – to the mainstream. PMR also released Disclosure's "Latch," which undeniably brought that UK garage-house sound commercial potential.
