Happy New Year! We're back for the first Song of the Week of 2016.

LA-based singer Gallant is for sure one of the smoothest new voices of 2015, and an artist to keep your eyes on in 2016. While you know I love Louis Futon's remix of Gallant's "Weight In Gold," I've recently been obsessed with Gallant's pulsating track "Open Up." The lyrics are gold, and his gorgeous, hi-pitched falsetto — accompanied by Stint's heavy drum kicks and future-influenced production — makes for a flawless composition.
