George Maple, the powerful and sultry vocalist in this song, is definitely an "artist to watch" this year. I first heard of her music when she collaborate with Flume in "Bring You Down." Her single "Talk Talk" was released in 2014, and while I've heard a lot of remixes of the song (including JackLNDN's feel-good remix in my playlist here), the slow buildup and amount of tension in 11 Lit3s and Emoh's remix is just mind-boggling. I saw What So Not (which used to be half Flume and half Emoh, but is not just Emoh Instead himself) in concert this past Friday at U Street Music Hall, and when he played this song during his set, I pretty much went crazy. There's nothing like hearing such an intense and emotional banger so loudly in such an intimate venue.
