A Study Playlist to Get You Through Final Exams

December 8, 2015 Stephanie Kim

Minimal vocals, calming vibes and uplifting beats make for the perfect study playlist.

With that in mind, I've created "deep sounds," a 28-track, mainly electronic playlist to help accompany your studying during finals week. I discovered most of these tracks on SoundCloud, given its forte in helping me discover unique, experimental, genre-bending tracks. You'll find some of my favorite "chill" artists like KAASI and Tom Misch – whom I've mentioned in my first music for productivity post – as well as newcomers to the blog who create minimalistic yet equally dynamic tracks.

I've found that each of these songs – many of which are in within the deep house genre – helps to really immerse me into my studies. I've also sneaked in early, oldie-but-goodie releases from Flume and Giraffage, and tracks like "Ô" by FKJ and Darius that offer a bit of funk and soul to this mainly downtempo set of songs.

Thanks for reading and listening, and best of luck with studying! The holidays are just around the corner.

Check out my other study playlists here.
