[Playlist] Feel-Good Friday, Vol. 4: Tonight

I don't know about you, but this week has been a long one, since midterms at Georgetown are in full swing. Let loose "Tonight" with Vol. 4 of Feel-Good Friday -- we're starting to enter the "Disclosure" realm with elements of UK garage sounds, which was definitely an acquired taste for me, but a genre that I now absolutely love because of those kick drums that add a true '90s vibe.

In this playlist I've also touched on a range of genres, all of which intersect with UK garage, thanks to some sweet remixes.

If you like tropical house (and a throwback), listen to "American Boy (Bolivard Remix)" by Kanye West featuring Estelle. If you're a fan of rap, NGHTMRE's remix of "No Type" by Rae Sremmurd should hit the spot. For EDM buffs, check out Martin Solveig and GTA's latest collaboration on "Intoxicated." And for the Brit lovers, listen to the remixes of songs by Karen Harding, Disclosure and Sam Smith.

Have an awesome weekend!

[Playlist] Feel-Good Friday, Vol. 3: City

Happy Friday! This week's playlist still maintains those chill house beats like Vol. 2., but this one is a bit more upbeat and on-the-go, hence the title "City." Plus, there's a taste of hip-hop and rap.

You'll find yet another remix of Tove Lo, but I promise this one is uplifting, tropical and vibrant. I even prefer it to the original, thanks to Gostan, whose specialty is in the chill house realm.

I've also included some remixes of throwbacks like "Suga Suga" by Baby Bash and Frankie J, "Roc Boys (And the Winner Is..." by JAY Z, "Paper Planes" by M.I.A. and "Cooler Than Me" by Mike Posner. I love that so many SoundCloud artists are adding chill, modern flavors to the hits of the 2000s and beyond.

One of the "artists to watch" in this playlist is SAINT WKND. He knows how to add a real future punch and heavy bass to his remixes that are deep and danceable but still cool and composed.

Hope you enjoy!
